The Crystal Tower (takagi) 2.0.0 is here for Christmas 2022, bringing with it some significant improvements to the gameplay and narrative. More info and links in the post.
This version isn’t a dramatic overhaul, and I won’t say it fixes all the issues. However, some of the jankiest gameplay sections have been smoothed out, and the dialogue has been significantly revamped with the tone shifted to something a bit more humorous and self-referential. Of course the engine and core have been upgraded, and there have been some details and other odds and ends added or fixed as well.
