The third part of Gap Year, a three-part illustrated novella that ties into the Outliers and Outsiders series of games, is out now, finishing up the series! This part, titled New Normal, continues developing Sakura and Gina’s relationship and concludes the main arc as the world starts to settle down.
Writing this one was almost the opposite of writing part 2. It was very slow going at first, but really sped up toward the end. Some of the illustrations were definitely rushed, but most of them turned out very well, and the cover design is my favourite of the series. I really wanted to finish this in the first half of 2024, and I’m happy to have reached that goal.
